Long Description :
Communications Representative
Basic Function :
Perform and coordinate assigned specific relationship and communication with GOI departments in relation to non mining aspects through proactive contacts, in order to smooth the department objectives.
Job Responsibility :
1. Build and maintain good communication and relationship with assigned specific non mining related-departments (e.g., National Land Agency, Home Affairs, Dept of Law & Human Rights, Dept of Socials, Foreign Dept etc) to disseminate company program and interests; in line with company plan and policy and GOI regulations.
2. Provide data and/or information and also perform appointment/courtesy calls, lobby, negotiate and maintain good relationship with assigned specific government agencies/officials, to support an easy access to get the required permits, draft decrees or other licenses.
3. Liaise with Land Affairs and Forestry Office (and Mining) to coordinate the related issues (boundary staking, release borrow-to-use), to maximize info and up-date GOI related offices on the progress of PTFI working on related issues and info the management GOI office concern on the issues.
4. Coordinate with SLRM team to support in obtaining the draft of regulations from the various GOI agencies which will potentially impact to the company operations in accordance with the company policy and strategy.
5. Implement the tasks and projects in accordance to the approved quarterly plan, to ensure achievement of set goals and objectives within the approved budget and in accordance with company's policy and procedure.
6. Provide relevant weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to supervisor and management in timely manner.
7. Provide data and/or information in order to support the activities in maintaining database for executive agencies institutions.
8. Perform critical and urgent ad-hoc tasks as requested by management, in order to ensure the job is done in a timely manner and accurately.

Requirements
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
Minimum Education and Experience
° Diploma 3 is a minimum degree preferably in any major / field and with minimum 5 years working experience in government relations.
